the deluminator or The Tales of Beetle the Bard?
Well, I would go with The Tales of Beetle the Bard because the purpose of the deluminator could be achieved with Peruvian instant darkness powder and the spell Lumos, and The Tales of Beetle the Bard would be entertaining.
Snape or the Half-Blood Prince? I would go with the Half-Blood Prince (as in the comments in the potions book), because those notes aren't snarky and rude like Snape is.
making a horcrux: Godric Gryffindor's sword or Salazar Slytherin's locket? I would make my horcrux out of Gryffindor's sword, because it would be easier to get than the locket. I would have to track down the locket, but I would have to do something brave for the sword.
Dobby or Kreacher? Dobby, because Dobby respects muggle-born witches and wizards, and while he wants to be paid, he thinks that work is very important. Dobby also doesn't talk to himself
Draco or Cormac? I would choose Cormac, because while they are both extremely conceited, Cormac doesn't have anything against muggle borns and wouldn't become a death eater.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Fnd them or Hogwarts: a History? I would choose Fantastic beasts and Where to Find Them because it seems more useful than Hogwarts: A History. Also, Luna married Newt Scamander's grandson.
Umbridge or Bellatrix? I would choose Dumbridge (LOL look how I spelled her name) because she would never kill anyone. Also, J.K.R. never said she was a Death Eater (although I have my theories...)
Viktor or Ron? I would choose Viktor, because he seems a bit brighter than Ron, and doesn't whine as much as Ron does.
triwizard cup tasks: task 2 (the swimming and saving people task) or task 3(the hedge maze to find the cup)? I would choose task 2, because I'm really good at swimming and would NEVER want to fight a blast-ended skrewt. (Well maybe if I was payed a million dollars and I got to curse Umbridge, Bellatrix, Voldemort, and Rita Skeeter at the end I would fight one.)
Trust me, HBP could never be as bad as OOTP. Here are five reasons why:
1. Less cut out, due to a shorter book.
2. Better Plot
3. Harry doesn't have a dorky haircut.
4. More Ginny and Luna!
5. Romilda Vane
