Question:
Any ideas for a Harry Potter Club?

I am getting ready to start a Harry Potter Club at my university but I need to compile some ideas for student services to accept my proposal. I have a few things such as quidditch, feasts, sortings and the usual ideas but I would like to get some ideas that are not quite as usual that college students would like to do. Does anyone have any suggestions to what I could do to intrigue others to join also? Thanks!

State that your club's purpose is to nurture young readers, to promote the fantasy genre and tolerance amongst the young in regards to race and religion - something fantasy literature is often a big proponent of. Perhaps club members can read some of JK Rowling's works or other stories to younger readers as community service.

Also, plan a summer or spring break field trip to the new Harry Potter theme park!

Good Luck!

Have a "Hogwarts's Next Top Model" contest with a costume segment, talent segment, spell creating segment where contestants have to make new, original spells with latin words and special wand movements and describe what the spell does. That will attract people, I think. You can also have a character look alike segment to determine which members look like which characters the most. Make it a rule in the club to speak with a British accent and use British words.

T-Shirts- you may make t-shirts based on the persons abode Qudditch- you may make a interest it quite is very on the area of qudditch like get a ball, and attempt to throw it to Tires properly if it would not sound like a loopy theory lol. Butterbeer- you may make a mouthwatering drink like butter beer that's butterscotch ripple.
