what fantasy creatures are cool?

im writing a novel and i want to invlove some creatures. i have some already but i need more. i have the basic troll, orc, high elf, blood elf, moon elf, darf elf, wood elf, goblin, centaur, ent, white elf, black elf, and some others. please do not invlolve ones from other books games, movies, tv etc. thank you :) ( also, please add description of what it looks like :D )

You should make some up instead besides wood elves are used in a lot of other fantasies as are dark elves and high elves. I have never heard of a moon elf or blood elf they sound cool though and would be good made up creatures for you to use. I think ents were made up by J.R.R Tolkien and I don't know if you can use them. I say make up your own and you'll be better off. This is only my opinion otherwise you can look stuff up online.

You are bound to discover at one point that any of your creatures have been used in fiction before. You just need to use the less common ones like maybe Satyr, Incubi, Banshee, any type of Apparation (Ghosts), etc.



@ Firepaw: Blood Elves are the same as High Elves in the Warcraft series, only loyal to oppsosing faction(s) Never heard of a Moon Elf, though I would compare them to the Night Elves, who revere the Moon spirit(s).
