The book is set in 2045, it has been 15 years since Russia invaded the United Kingdom. In 2028, a man by the name of Zhakar Marcor started making speeches about the glory of the U.S.S.R. In 2029, he won an election in Russia, and the Soviet Union returned to Russia. Then in 2030, they invaded the UK. The day they succesfully conquer the UK, a child is born, the only child in the world born on that day. He is called Aleks, and lives a life of poverty. Russia has degraded the UK to a third-world country, where starvation and poverty is very common. When Aleks is 15, he witnesses his mother getting shot and killed by Russian soldiers. He faints and awakes to find a man by his side, nicknamed 'Bullet'. He explains that he is the leader of a rebel army fighting against the Russian's in England called 'The Revolution'. He joins and the story goes from there. Aleks progresses in 'The Revolution', and by the end of the novel becomes their leader. There initial goal is to kill the Prime Minister of England- Adam Selado, but they find out Selado had nothing to do with the invasion, and he was just a pawn in Russia's evil chess game. They then set out to Moscow. The novel ends with Aleks becoming an alcholic, as the horrors he witnessed in his life drove him mad. Is this a good idea for a novel? Will it sell? Will it be offensive to anyone? Thanks :)
