Trying to remember a children's book involving two brothers and their adventures with animals?

Question

Two brothers constantly go on exotic adventures to find rare species for their father's private zoo. I cannot remember the name of the author or the books (although one might have been called Amazon Adventure). I think the author is British or American.

Amazon Adventure published in 1949 by none other than Willard Price. He also wrote Underwater Adventure, South Sea Adventure, Whale Adventure, African Adventure and many others. Mr. Price also wrote many non-fiction books which may be the reason for the authenticity of the adventure books. It's been a long time but I've read them all. I believe the brothers were Hal and Roger.



There is also speculation that Mr. Price while living in Japan spied for the British or the Americans.

it is unquestionably lots like the plot of The Mouse and the bike yet mine did no longer have images in it. He DOES positioned on a helmet, and force both a toy automobile and a bike.
