Okay, so today I found this unpriced shakespeare book from 1902. The cover is a little tattered but the pages are in great shape. The book is a first edition of the "william shakespeare complete works with 89 photos" (includes all of his plays, poems.) they have made remakes in 1925, 1970 something, and 2005 but I'm not sure if they're colored editions. Anyway, how much do you think this original edition which is over 100 yrs. old worth.
They are asking for a good fair offer, the book has a leather cover witth padding on the inside of the cover and says shakespeare on the top left corner written in gold script.
Anyway, remember that this is an original from 100 years ago so it's not going to be worth like 10 dollars it will be worth a lot more. It was he first complete collection of shakespeare all in one book with colored pics. and is extremely rare.

So; how much do you think it is worth. because I might want to buy it if it's not worth like 10 grand or something

The real Shakespeare first print will be worth that 10 grand or more ..this is a remake for 1900s must be worth something if is a first edition and in a good condition and with illustrations ....I learn a book is more worth because of the publisher, edition, sometimes the date, contents, binding, illustrations and artist if signed....heres an example of antique 1700s found on ebay

Net Book Value is the cost of an asset minus accumulated depreciation. Net Present Value involves time value of money, cash flows. They're really nowhere near the same thing.

i assume that last sentence is a typo. ("you might want to buy it if it's NOT worth like 10 grand.") Wouldn't you want to buy it if it WAS worth 10 grand? How much is the book selling for? sounds like this might be worth several thousand dollars, so if it's selling for anything less than $200 to $300, i'd go for it.

You asked me to answer your question, and I really wish I had the right answer for you, but I really don't know. I'm sorry.

But first, the condition of the book matters, and if it's not bad then that's good.

The best I could do is find a website that may answer your questions. http://www.rbms.info/yob.shtml

Good luck.

I wish I could remember the one web site that would be best... I deleted my bookmarks once... anyhow, try this one

http://www.abebooks.com

They normally have quite good listings of rare books and sets.

Great find though!!!
