All of these books are great:

Maximum Ride Series - James Patterson

Book 1: The Angel Experiment

Max had avian dna grafted into her before she was born, by sadistic scientists. Now she and the five others in her adopted family have wings, and they can fly. They are on the run from the scientists who will do anything to get them back. To make things more complicated, they are also being tracked by another of the scientist's experimental breeds: part human, part wolf, with a taste for flying kids.

These books are sooo good! I read the first one in 2 days (422 pages)

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins

In the future, in a place that used to be known as the U.S. every year, 24 teens are forced to participate in a "reality t.v. show." Only the winner lives. I loved this book. It made me cry.

Uglies - Scott Westerfeld (and anything else by him)

In Tally's world, when everyone turns 16, they receive an operation that makes them beautiful. When Tally's friend decides to run away and avoid the operation, Tally is forced to follow, and on the way, learns a horrible secret about being beautiful. Great book! Scott Westerfeld is awesome!

You Don't Know Me - David Klass

Told from inside the mind of a boy whose mother's boyfriend abuses him. It's funny, but deep. A really good book.

Unwind - Neal Shusterman

When the government outlaws terminating pregnancies, they come up with a new solution to this problem. Children between 13 and 17 can be "unwound," where their body parts will be donated to those in need. This story is about three kids who are trying to fight the society that would "unwind" them. This was one of the first really great books that I'd read in a looong time. I would soooo recommend it.

Thirteen Reasons Why - Jay Asher

I didn't love this, but everyone I know did. When Sarah Baker commits suicide, she makes tapes, which she sends to all of the people who affected her decision. It's told from the POV of the boy who had a crush on her, and he's wondering why he received a tape from her. What did he do that would make her want to die?

Generation Dead - Daniel Waters

If you liked Twilight, I would recommend this one. It was a really good book, but it didn't rip off the vampire idea. It is definitely worth reading.

Gone - Michael Grant

When everyone 15 years or older disappears, kids go crazy. Bullies rule, and no one knows what to do. Not only that, but animals are mutating, and kids are developing special powers. (I know it sounds kind of dumb, but it really isn't, it's soooo good!)

(to hear Michael Grant talk about the book, click here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFMisREpVS0)

Skinned - Robin Wasserman

Lia had a perfect life until she almost died in a car crash. Her body was destroyed, so her mind was downloaded into a new body that only looks human. She will never eat, feel pain, or age again. Society is against her, and everyone like her. It's a pretty good book. You should read it.

Hacking Harvard - Robin Wasserman

Really funny. Three kids make a bet to see if the can cheat their way into Harvard and prove the flaw in the admission system. It was a good book.

Can't Get There From Here - Todd Strasser

I loved this one. It's about a tribe of teens living on the streets of New York.

The Year Of Secret Assignments - Moriarty

This one is laugh out loud funny. It's about a group of penpals in different schools. It's written through their letters and emails and journal entries. It's sooooo funny.

Godless - Pete Hautman

A group of kids decide to worship a water tower. Need I say more? Funny book.

Going Nowhere Faster - Sean Beaudoin

Most hilarious (random) book I've ever read.

The Outsiders – S.E. Hinton

This book is sooooo good! Read it!

Tex - S.E. Hinton

If you liked The Outsiders, you'll like this one. It's not quite as good (nothing could be) but I really liked it.

Truancy - Isamu Fukui

When school rules a child's life, along with cruel leaders and teachers, a group of kids try to fight the system. Tack thinks he know what side he's on, especially when someone he cares about is hurt in a crossfire between the two sides, but after some time, he's not sure anymore. I liked the book. My friend wouldn't read it because it was too violent for her, but I thought it was good though. (but I didn't like the ending)

A reasonable few- I are not able to throw them away. As many as I can learn. I love books- I could love to have sufficient to fill a kind of partitions manufactured from simply books. I do not quite purchase highly-priced books- I by and large get them moment hand from Ebay or charity stores. My favorite e-book is Howls Moving Castle- it's witty, I adore the characters and since it's so acquainted to me now- it's comforting so I learn it while I am in poor health or feeling down. I recognise its style of a child e-book however I suppose its beautiful. Boudica - Dreaming the Serpent via Manda Scott. I have learn the opposite 3 and that is the final one. I love this sequence and I are not able to wait to get a duplicate. Fantasy- I similar to to break out from this international for a even as and disregard approximately the unhealthy or even the well of this lifestyles adn recollect what it could be like someplace else. If I desired to be taught approximately the truth of this international or lifestyles then I would simply watch the scoop.

I am currently reading The Boy in Striped Pajamas. It is such a good book. I would recommend Twilight, but it is way to over-talked and over-obsessed about. My friend recommend any book my Lois Duncan for me. If you haven't read it already, I would also suggest To Kill a Mockingbird. It seems like a boring book, but everyone I know who has read it really enjoyed it and it is one of my favorite books.

The Gemma Doyle Trilogy-Libba Bray:

A Great and Terrible Beauty

Rebel Angels

The Sweet Far Thing

This Trilogy is so, so good! There's romance and adventure and drama....Here's the summary of A Great and Terrible Beauty.... It’s 1895, and after the suicide of her mother, 16-year-old Gemma Doyle is shipped off from the life she knows in India to Spence, a proper boarding school in England. Lonely, guilt-ridden, and prone to visions of the future that have an uncomfortable habit of coming true, Gemma’s reception there is a chilly one. To make things worse, she’s been followed by a mysterious young Indian man, a man sent to watch her. But why? What is her destiny? And what will her entanglement with Spence’s most powerful girls—and their foray into the spiritual world—lead to?

The Mortal Instruments-Cassandra Clare:

City of Bones

City of Ashes

City of Glass

The first book is a little boring in the beginning but it gets better--much, much better and then the second book is sooo GOOD, like the whole book is so exciting, I could never sit still....And I haven't read the third book but I know it has to be good.... It's about this girl who finds out that there is a whole other world--an invisible world that no other human can see--but she can. Well it's not like an invisible PLANET or anything but there are magical creatures that walk the planet and humans can't see them. There's faeries, vampires, werewolves, witches, demons and magical stuff.... And there's even romance so it's really, really good....

Soon, her world is thrust into an intricate maze of secret societies and bitter intrigue. Schuyler has never been a part of the trendy crowd at her prestigious New York private school. Now, all of a sudden, Jack Force, the most popular guy in school, is showing an interest in her. And when one of the popular girls is found dead, Schuyler and Jack are determined to get to the bottom of it.

Schuyler wants to find out the secrets of the mysterious Blue Bloods. But is she putting herself in danger? Melissa de la Cruz's vampire mythology, set against the glitzy backdrop of New York City, is a juicy and intoxicating read.

The Au Pairs Series-Melissa De La Cruz:

The Au Pairs

Sun-Kissed

Skinny-dipping

Crazy Hot

This has a lot of drama too. It's about these girls who get a job as nannies at the Hamptons and they have to take care of, like, FIVE kids and they're all brats. And when they are off during the nights they party and meet guys and stuff. And one character starts to fall in love with the kids 17-year-old brother....

They've been on the run, but now they're being dragged back to St. Vladimir's—the very place where they're most in danger. . . .
