Sony Ereaders and very good. All the other makes I tried wouldn't work or their software was corrupted. I'm also fifteen and have one. The only down side is that some books are hard to find in ebook format. Argos is where I got my one :D

hi i got the sony ebook about a year ago now and love it,the only thing i would suggest would be getting the cover with a built in light for when your in the car etc because the screen is not lighted. When it consences books there are so many places you can get ebooks for free on the web.

Some sites are:

ebook.com

freeebooks.net

http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page

manybooks.net/

www.ebookdirectory.com/

www.floodle.net

Here are some websites you can get free books in the public domain:

http://manybooks.net/

I'll suggest the Amazon Kindle as getting books on it is cheaper. And there are some extra free books for the Kindle you can find here:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fs%3Fie%3DUTF8%26node%3D154606011%26redirect%3Dtrue%26p%255F36%3D0-0&tag=moreinfo-po-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957

Here is a good comparison between the Sony Reader and the Amazon Kindle:

Hope it helps :)

I like to read ebooks but I prefer to read them on my iPhone. IMO a dedicated ebook reader is a waste of money and inconvenient. I can download books straight on to my iPhone, mainly from Fictionwise, using Stanza.

Other good places where you can get out of copyright ebooks free are Project Gutenberg, Munseys and Book Glutton, all of which are on the Stanza online catalogue.

Before I got an iPhone I used Mobipocket on my Nokia N95. So my recomendation is to get a good phone and use that to read ebooks
