Anne Rice is such a racey author! Tell me what you thought about the sexy twist on the time-less classic tale of Sleeping Beauty!

P.s. Its not for everyone but it sure is a rush!

I read the first one and it is honestly one of the only books I can say I didn't like by Anne Rice. That and The Violin. I love all the Vampire Chronicles and the Mayfair Witches. Try Belinda though.. It is very good. Semi-erotica if that's what you like. I think it was under a pen name though.

Yes I have read them - and they were horrible! Anyone who knows anything at all about the D/s lifestyle knows these books are a terrible interpretation of what the reality is. Where is the love between these people? Where is the respect? Where is the growth in these characters? There isnt any. These are 3 books filled with spankings and people playing pony and nothing else. It is this kind of irresponsible erotic literature that gives young people a very slanted and inaccurate version of this alternate lifestyle. No, this wasn't sexy at all. The spankings got boring about halfway through the first book. If you want to read erotic versions of fairy tales, try Angela Carter. If you want to read books that give you a true view of the D/s lifestyle - write to me and if you are old enough, I will suggest proper material. Anne Rice should be ashamed of herself for putting out such junk and giving people such wrong information. Pax - C.

Well I am not into the D/S lifestyle, I just happened to pick these up after reading Anne Rice's Lasher series. They were okay, not bad I guess. Interesting enough, but like the other person wrote, they got old and boring. Too many spankings and occasionally was crude in a way that was just....ick. But, entertaining for just a thoughtless couple of weeks.

I think good erotica is extremely hard to write, and I also think Anne Rice should stick to vampires and witches. I just thought they were silly books, designed to tittilate, and nothing more.

I am sorry, I didn't find them sexy, I found them silly :(
