Depends on the content of the page. I spend about 10 seconds to quickly scan over the page, checking for key information to get a sense of the page content.

If it is not interesting, I spend about 40 seconds or less to skim over the page again.

If it is something interesting, I would spend about 1-1.5 minutes to read it and remember the information.

If it contain masterpiece writing, I would spend about 5 minutes to read it again and again, learning from the writing.

No 2 minutes isn't slow, sometimes I read in a page in that amount of time, because I don't want to miss anything..

Well, it depends.

If it's something like Twilight, um...50 seconds or less.

If it's Beowulf or Tale of Two Cities, probably at LEAST 1 1/2 minutes.

How big is the page, how big is the font? There are too many factors to accurately answer this question.

that sounds quite fast but it totally depends on the book and its style of writing and font text i think! averagely i'd say it takes me about 1.5minutes for a modern book with medium sixed print but like 4 minutes for a classic with smaller print x
