1. Be honest: What did you think of Snape the whole series, maybe your opinion changed with each book, but before book 7? Were you surprised at what you learned about him?
I was very shocked. I never really liked Snape. I always thought he was a "good guy", just not someone I'd like to hang out with. Then at the end of Book 6, I didn't think there was ANY way Rowling could make me believe he wasn't evil. As soon as I read Book 7, about his 'revelation', I was like "Curses, Rowling! You're amazing and now I have to like him again."
2. If you could bring back one character from the dead, who would it be?
FRED FRED FRED. It just breaks my heart to know that George is alone. I mean, they've NEVER been apart. It was sad.
3. What did you think of the epilogue?
It was a little cheesy. I liked them introducing everyone's kids and all, but I just wish there was more about the characters we already know and love. We learned Neville's a professor and a few things, but it left me hanging. And come on... "Albus Severus"? Poor kid. And is James's middle name "Sirius"? Otherwise, Sirius is rolling over in his grave knowing that Harry named a kid after Snape and not him.
4. What do you think of the fact that they're splitting the last movie in two?
Awesome. Rowling really complicated the plot by throwing the Deathly Hallows stuff in and trying to cram it all in one film would ruin it. That's personally why I hated the Goblet of Fire movie... the plot was too twisty to be translated well in such a short movie.
5. What do you think Harry should have done with the Resurrection Stone? Elder Wand?
Exactly what he did with them... wait, what DID he do with the Resurrection Stone? Was it destroyed? If not, I think he should use it to chat with his parents/Sirius/Lupin/everyone. Why not?
6. What surprised you most in the series?
Snape being in love with Harry's mom. Never saw that one coming.
7. Who do you think was miscast in the movies?
No one that I can think of, but I do think the part of Hermione wasn't written well. I think the actress is great, but I don't think the writers really made her part like Hermione. She doesn't seem bookish enough.
8. Who do you think they did the best job casting?
Rupert Grint as Ron. He's perfect. His mannerisms and facial expressions make for a great Ron Weasley.
9. Which specific parts do you wish were put in the movies?
There is so much I wish was different about Goblet of Fire... I wish they had included all the obstacles in the hedge maze instead of just making it a creepy bunch of living bushes or whatever.
10. If you could ask JKR one question, what would it be?
"When is this encyclopedia coming out? And make sure to include every detail about every character that you can!"
