Need help with a name for a character?

Question

I have 2 characters in my script and I'm trying to decide on a name for both of them. I have some name choices but I can't decide which one sounds best for the character.

The first character is male, he has green eyes, brown hair, dimples (kind of looks like Jackson Rathbone), handsome, charming, very manipulative, smooth talker, comes across as sweet and nice but he is actually psycho, dark, dangerous, and VERY bad news. Originally this characters name was Bentley Dupree but I recently changed this characters look (so this character no longer looks like a Bentley). This characters last name is Dupree but sometimes he goes by his adopted last name which is Vaughn.
Names I'm considering for this character:

This character is female, she has blonde hair, blue eyes (sort of looks like Ashley Olsen), comes from a wealthy and famous family, she likes to party, get wild, drink and sleep around, she has had several stints in rehab, she doesn't trust anyone and she's afraid to get close to anyone, she's shallow but she wants to change. This character's last name is Cummings (but she will later find out that her enemy is her half sister so she will also be going by the last name Vaughn) Also for a short time she will be going by the last name Dupree. So this characters name needs to sound good with Cummings, Dupree, and Vaughn.

I'm leaning toward Ashton for the male character - it sounds like it works well with both his personality and both last names, plus Asher as a nickname sounds slightly sinister, which seems to go with the character.



For the girl, I'm leaning towards Olivia. It goes well with the last names and the nicknames make it versatile enough for the multiple facets of her personality (Olivia for when she is trying to straighten up and be grown, Liv for when she's the wild child/distrustful girl, Livie when she's feeling vulnerable).

For the boy it's totally Jesse. The name sounds like the character you described.



For the girl I gotta go with Stella.

The first character sounds like a Travis, I know a few trouble making Travis's. The second sounds like an Ashley, Allison, or Kaylee.

Connor (I love this, but my brother used it for his son, but otherwise we woul have had a Conor, which is the traditional irish spelling).

i like the name ashton (and you can use ash for a deep dark nickname :P) and ava.. if you dont want both to be a..sorry.

i dont really think the other names fit a self conscious character (based on what you said by the description im guessing she is)
