On Windspring Island, the pirates used it for their treasure and the captain killed his crew and himself and vowed to forever guard their treasure.
a couple hundred years later, Amber Willis discovers at her very old house, the figure head of a ship hidden away in the basement, and a secret tunnel leading away from the basement. She goes on a quest to find the treasure and save it from a ring of jewel thieves after the treasure also.

1.) Never post your plot on the internet because it might get stolen. Anyone can take a good plot and write it for themselves.

2.) It sounds very, very cliche. Like already been done. If you want to write for the good ole love of writing, then by all means, do so. If publishing is on your mind, then eh, you're going to have to do some sprucing up. Add some flare that's unique to you! And make sure you have a twist. Have something hat the reader wont suspect! This might means brainstorming and outlining for a while again, but it will be worth it in the end.

:] Good luck to you

So is there a ghost? A legend about the Haunted Treasure? It would be interesting if the Island has made the legend into a theme for the town. An annual Treasure Hunt for tourist trade and such.

Sounds good. Maybe add in some modern-day pirates. It would be interesting to see a person's idea of a modern-day pirate.

your own idea?wow. good, continue writing on the plot.

But remember, when developing a plot into a story, you need to pay attention even to minor details. If you do that, your story will come out well.

All the best.
