Who would be who from Aladdin in a Harry Potter fanfiction?

I am now casting for the roles of

Gazeem (the thief at the beginning)

Prince Achmed (the Prince that called Aladdin worthless and was chased off by Rajah)

I think I want Princess Jasmine to be Hermione and I don't care about how the characters end up (pair wise) through the series, in fact I like it best when I write stories when the characters DON'T end up with the person JK wrote (just to be spontaneous!)

And I also want to know where the scenery should be such as the palace, Aladdin's place, where Aladdin is shot off to when Jafar becomes a powerful Sultan, where the Cave of Wonder's is, etc.

Jafar - Voldemort (noone else is as evil and crafty as Jafar needs to be)

Iago - Lucius Malfoy (because I think that he's great as evil sidekick)

Aladdin - Harry (both great as the hero)

Abu - Ron (he's already proven himself as the hero's sidekick)

Prince - Draco (someone who is a little spoilt but not really evil)

Jasmine - Hermione

Rajah - Ginny Weasley (Hermione's best gal pal, it works)

Sultan - Hagrid (a little bit silly, but has a heart that is in the right place)

Main Guard - Snape (is a little confused as to where his alliances should lie)

Genie - Dumbledore (is full of great wisdom and power)



Palace: Could be Malfoy Manor. Or the entire Hogwart's castle.

Aladdin's Place: It could be either in Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade (if it's at Hogwarts). How about the Shrieking Shack if the main Palace is Hogwarts. It's private and could have a great view of the castle, just like Aladdin's place in the movie.

Where Aladdin is shot off too: I've decided that the Palace is going to be Hogwarts, so I think he should be shot off to either the middle of the Giant Lake, or to somewhere in the forbidden forest. But then again. you may use the Lake as the scene where Aladdin//Harry makes his second wish... You could always send him someplace cold and snowy....
