I'm a bit bored, ha ha.
My favorite book:
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's/Philosopher's Stone
Why:
I like these kinds of books, with magic and witches and wizards. I like imagining places and people that are impossible to be really true in real life. I also like it because it's where Harry's life as a wizard begins, and he meets Ron and Hermione, and Hagrid and Dumbledore.

Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban (my favorite...except for the fact that it was too predictable that Sirius was good, not bad) I like this book a lot because of the stuff with the time turner at the end.

The Negotiator. I'm not sure who it's by. I don't really know if it's good or not because I just started it.

My favorite book:

Project 17 by: Laurie Faria Stolarz

Why:

I love reading horror/ mystery books. This book is about this kid who is making a movie in an abandoned asylum. He brings along some actors and they unravel the secret of a girl who lived and died there. There is also a scene with a creepy doll that talks but has no recorder, string or anything. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes terrifying excitement!

Red is for Remembrance by: Laurie Faria Stolarz

I never realized this before, but this is a very good author. I've read four books by her so far and I'm on my 5th. The book I am currently reading is part of a series and is the 4th of 4 books.

My Favorite Book:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

Why:

All the insane attention to detail and I'm a huge Harry Potter geek. I've read each book at least 4 times... Yeah I'm just that weird. I love the whole book but the ending I do admit that it is cliche. However I love the spin on Snape's love life(:

I've always been a die hard fantasy reader and I still am but my favorite book is Pillars of the Earth. Reading the synopsis it sounds kind of boring but trust me its not. Its and epic novel that follows a bunch of characters in the 12th century and centers around the building of a cathedral. The plot is intense and dramatic and the characters are complex and just about anyone can find someone in it to relate to. I beg anyone to give it a try I was so glad when I finally did.

I am currently reading the sookie stackhouse series and I love it. very fun and even better than the show

Favorite book: 'Deception Point' by Dan Brown

Why: I love Brown's writing. Sure, in all of his works, he uses the same plot twist, but he makes the books interesting enough that you don't even care if it is going to end the same way as the others. 'Deception Point' is essentially about a discovery of a meteor in an ice cap in the North Pole. This meteor, though, is more important than any other of it's kind because of what it contains. But as the characters in the story look into the meteor, the validity of the rock comes into question. I can't give away any more than that, in case you haven't read it. But it is definitely worth reading.

What I'm reading now: 'Helter Skelter' by Vincent Bugliosi. One of the greatest true crime books written, about one of the craziest cases in the world. It really makes you want to barricade your door closed at night.

The Ice Princess by Theodore Svea. In the book a prince has his heart, memories, and crown stolen by a cold and cruel unattainable beauty. In the fantasy story The Ice Princess, there is an ogre, kings, queens, a unicorn, a dragon and a mysterious crystal skull.

Also, I think The Great Gatzby by F. Scott Fitzgerald is well-written.

Favorite book: (I have two)

Even Now: Karen Kingsbury.... I think it's such an ah-mazzing book because it tells of things that could actually happen to someone... it kind of reminds me of Romeo and Juliet...

The Art of Racing in the Rain: Garth Stein... I think it's a good book because it's told from the dog's point of view. and the dog is thinking/seeing all these things and he wishes that he could tell the people how he feels... so sad :'(

My favorite book right now is The Hunger Games series. I love them because they aren't just about romance and teen problems. They have plot and aren't all fluff.

Right now I am reading the Gone series.

im sure youve probably been told a million times to read twilight. the books are much better than the movies.

youd probably really like the southern vampire mysteries by charlaine harris! theyre the books that hbo's true blood is based on. true blood & the books are similar but different enough for me to like both :) it has vampires, werewolves, fairies, witches, etc.. theyre great!

i just finished reading "a touch of dead" which is a collection of short stories that give the background on some of the characters in the southern vampire books.
