I like some ... I guess you would call it alternative books.
The Darren shan Cirque du freak series, as well as the demonata series.
Twilight, Blue bloods. Harry potter, Lord of the rings. are a few of my favorites.
Im reading wuthering heights right now but after that im out of ideas.
Not quite teen books but idk, i just dont want anything too young.

IDEAS PLEASE?!

The Shopaholic Series, by Sophie Kinsella

The Grant County Series, by Karin Slaughter

The Jane Rizolli/Maura Isles Series, by Tess Gerritsen

The BulletCatchers Series, by Roxanne St. Claire

The No Evil Series and The Predator Series, by Allison Brennan

The Buchanan Brothers Series, by Julie Garwood

And last, but not least, they're not exactly in a series, but they're sort of serial (same characters): Don't Tell, I'm Watching You, Nothing to Fear, You Can't Hide and Count to Ten, by Karen Rose

I am a big fan of Mercedes Lackey, especially her Valdemar series. They definitely have more adult themes (especially the newer ones) but are still fun to read in that "Harry Potter" sort of way.

I definitely recommend:

Arrow of the Queen

Arrow's Flight

Arrow's Fall

and The Last Herald Mage Trilogy changed my life:

Magic's Pawn

Magic's Promise

Magic's Price

Try something by Neil Gaiman. Maybe start with his novel Neverwhere. He's a really good author.
