I am moderating a book blog with a team of two writers. But the number of requests for book review are increasing day by day.. I am already paying writers of my blog. Now I want to add some cost for book review. But I don't have idea how much should I charge.. Is it good or not?? Authors will feel bad ?? because I was posting for free before. I am still ready to post spotlights, guest blogs, interviews(questions are provided by me),any book news for free. But book reviews really take time and you have to be very careful.. I daily refuse 2 authors for review due to lack of time.. I don't know how much should I charge and what impression my blog will have after this.. because all authors love my blog. And they have told me this in emails many times. Please help?

If you want people to stop bugging you for reviews, sure charge them. Even a buck will make most of them disappear. Obviously, you only give good reviews, so why wouldn't an author want free publicity?

Your blog is still new and it's not self-hosted. According to the blog you have you only have 3,700-ish views. I find it very arrogant of you to say, "all authors love my blog." Umm, no. Not all authors love your blog. The authors who have found you may love your blog but that does not mean all authors love your blog.

While I believe bloggers should be paid for their work (I am a blogger too), asking to be paid for book reviews is bordering on ridiculous if not insulting. If you are busy and can't take on more reviews, then say so. But once you enter the world of being paid for reviews you take on legal issues and disclosure issues that have to be considered.

I strongly suggest NOT seeking payment for book reviews. It could end up making you look bad, not to mention greedy.

Any review for which an author or publisher pays is a review that cannot be unbiased. Never accept money for reviews. If you have requests for more than you can do, you will have to find another way to winnow the candidates to a manageable number.

Paid reviews are utterly worthless.

it fairly is the perfect American novel ever written. it fairly is a timeless classic. This e book far surpasses something Mark Twain wrote. it fairly is my variety one suggestion for grade 8 and up. The action picture rocks besides, and due to the adjustments between the e book and film, it provides the discriminating instructor an hazard to allow scholars to evaluate and assessment a diverse with video media.

I would research the industry. See how your competition manages it.
